MARIETTA, GA — The Life University Women's Basketball team opened their post-season with a statement.
A 50 point statement to be exact.

The Phoenix were outscored by the Running Eagles by 23 points, which was less than what Tears and Lindsey combined in scoring throughout the first two quarters.
In the third, Cumberland would fall to a score margin of nearly 30 by at the halfway mark. The Women reached the 60-point mark. Tears would be shy of 30 points entering the fourth, and Lindsey shy of 20.
The Women scored 37 points total in the fourth quarter, closing out with a win 99-49.
