BOWLING GREEN, Ky. ---- The No. 10 Life University women's volleyball team dropped its first match since September 3 in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship to No. 23 Lindsey Wilson 3-0 Saturday night.
Lindsey Wilson won the match in three consecutive sets 25-22, 25-21 and 25-23. Despite the loss, Life U led Lindsey Wilson in nearly every statistical category. Lindsey Wilson led 9-3 in total blocks for the match as both teams picked up six service aces. The Blue Raiders totaled 45 kills for a .402 hitting percentage as the Running Eagles finished .402 with 20 attack errors and a .257 hitting percentage. Life U led 43-41 in assists and 39-38 in digs.Â
Individually,
Lena Pucnik finished with a team-high 12 kills and four digs.
Madison Evans added 10 kills with a .350 hitting percentage.
Fayola Louis added nine kills as
Mary Zimmerman tallied eight.
Jessie Prichard finished with 41 assists and nine digs with a service ace.Â
The women's volleyball team will find out their destination for the NAIA Women's Volleyball Opening Round on Monday, Nov. 15.
