BABSON PARK, Fla. ---- The ninth-ranked Life University women's lacrosse team put on a show down at Webber International today, earning a dominant 25-2 victory on the road in Mid-South Conference play.
NOTES
• Life U stays perfect through the early portion of the schedule with the win, moving on to 4-0 (2-0), while the Warriors drop to 0-2 (0-2).
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
•
Brianna Freeman led all players with seven goals scored in the match. She shot incredibly efficiently throughout the match, gaining her goals on only eight shots, while also adding an assist.
•
Lacy Legaspi put together a career outing on the attack, recording her career high in goals with five to go with two assists, three ground balls, and a caused turnover.
•
Tina Ricci showed up in all aspects of the game in a big way, posting career highs in both assists and draw controls. The senior's stat line was crazy, earning 4 goals, six assists, three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and 12 draw controls.

Kelly Beshaw played smart on the attack, making four goals on six shots as well as helping her teammates on the attack with two assists. Beshaw also added two ground balls recovered.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freeman earned the Running Eagles a lead that would have been good to win the game within the first three minutes of play, recording three goals by herself. Before the first 10 minutes of the game had passed, three more goals were added for Life U as the lead expanded to 6-0. After a Life U goal, Ricci earned the draw control which turned into another near immediate goal for the Running Eagles at 13:11 with an 8-0 lead. The game was forced to a running clock in another quick, back-to-back scoring burst as Life U went on to take a 15-0 advantage to the break.

Tori Adcox scored the first point of the second frame, before the Warriors finally got on the board with 21:22 remaining in play. Life U recorded four goals over a six minute period to push the lead to 20-1 as the game drew near the final 10 minutes of play. Webber International got its second, and last, goal to go through at 9:53, before the Running Eagles finished the match on a 5-0 run to end the game with a lopsided score of 25-2.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Life U possessed the edge in most statistical categories. The Running Eagles took a 44 to 10 advantage in shots with 38 of their shots being on goal as opposed to Webber International's eight.
• Life U was perfect on the night clearing the ball, going 18-for-18, while the Warrior's kept things relatively win, going 10-for-14.
• Webber International committed 25 turnovers in the game as Life U finished with 11.
• Life U picked up 17 ground balls compared to the 10 from Webber International. Life U led the Warriors 15-12 in draw controls during the game.
• The lone category where TN Wesleyan led was saves, recording 13 to Life U's six.
