MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The Life University men's volleyball team fell to St. Andrews University Saturday afternoon in the final regular season match for both teams.

St. Andrews rarely trailed in the match as the Knights earned the 3-0 win 25-20, 25-22 and 25-21.Â
St. Andrews finished the match with a .269 hitting percentage on 41 kills and just 16 errors. The Knights led in every statistical category as they totaled six service aces, 11 total blocks, 40 assists and 32 digs.
Life U finished with a .131 hitting percentage with 29 kills and 18 attacking errors. The Running Eagles added three service aces, five total blocks, 28 assists and 28 digs.Â
Individually for Life U,
Diego Martinez led the way with 12 kills and a .360 hitting percentage.
Alex Cabana added seven kills with four block assists as
Javier Cornier totaled 21 assists with six digs and a pair of block assists.
Ryan Ollie totaled a team-high seven digs with three kills and a service ace.Â
The Running Eagles will begin postseason action on Thursday, March 31, when they head to Bowling Green, Ky. for the Mid-South Conference Championships. As the six-seed, they will face the No. 11 seeded Midway at 3 PM EST. If they win, they will match up with No. 3 seeded Campbellsville at 9 PM EST. Â
