MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life U women's soccer saw its offense stifled by a tough UT Southern team in a 3-0 loss on Wednesday night in SSAC play.

Playing for the third time in the past week, the Running Eagles were unable to control possession and mount a sustained offensive attack, as the Firehawks found two goals in the first half and one more in the second half to pull away and earn the victory.

The Firehawks had a few chances before delivering the only goal they needed in the 16th minute. Only five minutes later, UT Southern was able to find the ball in front of the goal again to put another one on the board to bring the score 2-0. 

Overall, UT Southern held a 13-1 shot advantage in the first half.

Life U held more position than they did in the first half, until the Firehawks broke through again late, scoring in the 83rd minute.

Up next, the Running Eagles will return home, hosting Point on Lupo Family Field in SSAC play Monday, October 21.
