MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life U women's basketball team was unable to overcome SSAC opponent #14 Loyola in a 82-94 loss on Saturday morning during Senior day.

The Wolf Pack took control of the beginning of the contest with a 23-14 advantage in the first quarter and held off Life U throughout the fourth quarter to take the win.

The loss marks Life U's sixth of the season after just going on a three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, senior guard Andrea Martin Ruiz led the team, contributing 17 points and one rebound. Fellow Senior Maeisha Teasley followed with 12 points and added five rebounds. Brionna Sims scored ten points and Darryn Zeigler grabbed seven rebounds. .

The Running Eagles kept fighting back and had an even second quarter where they added 20 points against the Wolf Packs 23 points going into the break.

34-46 at the break, the Running Eagles' kept their heads up in the third quarter. They fought back from a 20-point deficit in the third quarter scoring 30 points in the fourth quarter to trail by 12 points 94-82 at the end of the game.
