Women's Flag Football Falls to Reinhardt in 18-6 Loss

MARIETTA, Ga- The Life U women's flag football team played their second game of the 2024 season by hosting Reinhardt University in a Sun Conference matchup. Both teams battled before the Eagles took the 18-6 win.
Both teams went 0-0 in the first quarter before Reinhardt got on the board with an early second quarter touchdown taking the 6-0 lead to start. Shortly after, the Eagles added another drive to make the score 12-0. Life U's offense held strong as K'Myah Graves rushed in a late second quarter touchdown bringing the score to 12-6 going into the half.
The Eagles came out strong in the second half, scoring a touchdown on a rush in the third. The Running Eagles were able to force a stop late in the fourth quarter, but after a drive by Graves it was not enough time to give the Running Eagles a chance. The Eagles head back to Waleska with a 18-6 win.
Life U will be back in action on Monday, March 4th at the Upper Field ready to take on the Milligan. Kickoff is set for 5 PM.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
--K'Myah Graves led Life U with nine complete passes, 18 rush attempts and one touchdown off of a rush.
--Jala Wright picked up 11 tackles and Makayla Morgan had four tackles and four sacks.
