Flag Football Falls to Milligan in Non-Conference Matchup

MARIETTA, Ga. -- The Life University flag football team returned home for a day full of action, holding a pair of scrimmages before facing off against Milligan on the Upper Field. After a quick start for the Buffs, the Running Eagles failed to generate enough offense to keep up, falling 34-12 Thursday evening.
Trailing in the first after conceding a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter, the Running Eagles were able to score just inside the two minute warning as K'Myah Graves rushed inside for a short gain and score. After cutting into the lead, the Buffs took no time responding, marching down the field and scoring inside the two minute warning to go ahead 26-6 at half-time.
In the second half, the Running Eagles were unable to cut into the lead until the very end, with a touchdown just under the 4th quarter 2-min. warning to conclude the contest, 34-12.
Overall, K'Myah Graves threw for 195 yards and rushed for an additional 16. Jala Wright led the team in receptions and yards with 70.
Up next, the Running Eagles travel to West Palm Beach, Fla. to face Keiser University on Saturday at 3 pm.
