KINGSPORT, Tenn. -  The Life U men's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 sweep over Warner in the AAC Championship Tournament quarterfinals Thursday evening.

The Running Eagles were dominant in all three sets and move on to the semi-finals. 

Senior Jose Llaneza led all players with 9 kills, while Senior Diego Martinez was also highly efficient, generating a .600 attack percentage.

Llaneza continued his service magic, with seven service aces while Alexis Prado had three. AAC Setter of the Week Carlos Pinto put up all of the assists on the board totaling 30. 

The Running Eagles led early on in the first set leading 6-1 and Life U never looked back from there. Warner made many errors in the first set allowing the Running Eagles to easily lead 1-0.

The second set was even more dominant, as Life U won the last five points with multiple players earning kills to close out a 25-17 win and put them one set away from the 3-0 sweep.

The third set was quick as Life U immediately went on a 6-0 run.  Later in the set the Running Eagles would go on a 9-1 run with Llaneza earning four service aces in the run. 

Up next, the Running Eagles will compete in the AAC semifinals against Webber at 6 p.m.
