TALLADEGA, Ala. - On the road, the Running Eagles were able to make quick work of Talladega College with a 3-0 sweep of the Tornadoes.
Life U left little room for the Tornadoes in the opening two sets with a 25-16 win and a 25-14 win to start. In the third, Tornadoes tried to keep up but the Running Eagles secured a 25-17 win.
David Barcan led Life U with ten kills while also coming up with two blocks.
Setter Carlos Pinto was able to create 25 assists and Gracjan Mackowiak added three blocks.
Life U held Talladega to a .000 attack percentage in the match while hitting .393 as a unit. Also, eight different Running Eagles collected a kill.
Up next, the Running Eagles will host Truett McConnell this Saturday for Senior Day atr 12 p.m.

--The Tornadoes tried to mount a comeback in the final set, but it was not enough as the Running Eagles won the set 25-17.
