MARIETTA, Ga. — The Life University women's volleyball team closed its regular season at home Saturday afternoon, falling 3–1 (12–25, 25–20, 19–25, 15–25) to SSAC opponent Loyola University inside the Upper Gym. The Running Eagles showed strong moments throughout the match, highlighted by a convincing second-set win, but could not sustain the momentum as the Wolf Pack took control late.
Loyola opened the match on a strong note, using an efficient attack to take the first set 25–12. The Running Eagles answered in the second behind a balanced offense from Victoria Davenport and Jade Watson, jumping ahead early and holding the lead through the final points to secure a 25–20 win and even the match.
Set three stayed competitive early, featuring six ties, but Loyola used a late push to pull away 25–19. The Wolf Pack carried that energy into the fourth, capitalizing on early errors and maintaining control to close out the match 25–15.
