GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Life University women's track and field team earned a fourth place finish at the 2025 NAIA Indoor Championships this past weekend. Highlighted by Most Outstanding Performer of the meet Briana Campbell, the Running Eagles finished with two National Champions and three All-Americans.

Campbell became the first individual National Champion for the Running Eagles with her record-breaking performance in the 60m hurdles. Breaking the her own NAIA record for the second time this season, Campbell turned in a 8.09 when it mattered the most, winning the race with ease. She went on to run a 7.34 in the 60m dash just hours later, claiming second place in the event. Then, a few hours after her second place finish, Campbell once again claimed gold, this time running away with the 200m championship. Her time of 23.59 narrowly propelled her into first as she was just .06 seconds faster.
In the 800m, Emeline Delaville cruised to her National Champion status with a resounding 2:13.30 and celebration at the finishing line. Favored to win the event coming into Saturday, she led for the majority of the race and never looked back. Delaville has now claimed the indoor title two years straight.
Cameron Kelperis led off the competition for Life U, becoming the first All-American for her squad. Earning a third place podium finish, Kelperis broke her own school record with a height of 3.95m while finishing two spots above where she was seeded.

Zaria Bonafede finished 26th in the long jump prelims, recording a best distance of 5.25m. Najah Gibson narrowly missed the podium in the 600m, placing 11th with a time of 1:35.21. The number six finisher and number 14 finisher were separated by less than two seconds.

The 4x400m relay team of Laisha Hernandez, Emeline Delaville, Dagbjort Magnusdottir and Najah Gibson missed the podium by one slot, placing ninth with a time of 3:52.36. The time put them just under one second behind eighth place.

Life U now turns the focus towards the Outdoor Season where expectations are extremely high.
