Men's Volleyball Falls to #12 St. Thomas

Miami, Fla. – The Life University men's volleyball team fought hard but ultimately fell 3-1 to St. Thomas (FL) on Friday evening in South Florida. The Running Eagles started with confidence, taking the first set 25-23, but #12 St. Thomas (FL) stormed back to win the next three (25-19, 25-20, 25-15) and secure the victory.

Life U opened the match with strong energy, trading points early and showcasing defensive grit. Behind standout performances from Ethan Bustos and Vincent Eisinga, the Running Eagles executed sharp attacks and forced key errors from St. Thomas (FL). Aggressive play helped the Running Eagles claim the first set.

However, St. Thomas (FL) adjusted quickly, using a strong service game and defensive discipline to take control. Life U battled in the second set but fell 25-19. The third set saw the Running Eagles momentarily gain an edge behind Kaelen Ingram, but the home team surged late to claim a 25-20 win. In the final set, St. Thomas (FL) dominated early and never looked back, closing the match with a 25-15 victory.

— Life U showed resilience but struggled to sustain momentum, allowing St. Thomas (FL) to dictate the pace in the final three sets.
