Life University Celebrates 8th Student-Athlete Awards Banquet

MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The Life University Athletic Department celebrated the eighth annual Student-Athlete Awards Banquet Thursday night, celebrating and acknowledging student-athletes on the successes and accomplishments earned this year. 

This year, the department continued to build upon its' previous success in nearly every category. As a department, Life U celebrated 129 All-Academic Conference honorees, 123 All-Conference honors, 78 All-Americans, 18 combined team and individual National Championships, and nine district/national individual honors. The department will also see its largest number of graduating student-athletes ever in a single academic year. 

This year, the banquet was hosted by Devyn Gomez from the women's wrestling program and Sophia Carneiro from the women's swim program. Photos from the event can be accessed, HERE.
