LAKE WALES, Fla. — The Life University Men's Soccer team earned a decisive win over the Royals of Warner early Monday afternoon. The Running Eagles posted four goals in the second half, with five different goal scorers in the contest.

The Royals jumped out to an early lead, taking just seven minutes to find the back of the net. Andrei Apostu quickly leveled the contest in the 24th minute before giving his squad the lead just ten minutes later. Leading 2-1 going into the break, Life U dominated the possession and shot opportunities in the first 45, posting 15 shots.

Reigning Golden Boot winner Thomas Rodella wasted no time moving the score line to 3-1 in the second, tucking away a penalty kick opportunity. However, Warner earned a penalty kick opportunity of their own just three minutes later, converting the chance to pull back within one.

Manuel Carrilo added his name to the stat sheet in the 74th minute, giving the Running Eagles a two-goal cushion. Late insurance from Alvaro Hidalgo (PK) and Finn Seijsener followed as Life U closed out the 6-2 road-victory.

"Another game played in difficult circumstances. Good solid win keeps us undefeated," said Head Men's Soccer Coach Alex Pama. "We learned a lot about ourselves during this productive trip to Florida. Now we await the late arrivals and heal some of our injured players for a great test on Saturday at home vs a top 5 side, Cumberlands. We hope we can count again on the support of our incredible fans!"
