MARIETTA, Ga. — Life University Athletics proudly honored 43 graduating student-athletes representing 13 different teams at the Summer 2025 Commencement, marking another milestone in the department's tradition of academic and athletic excellence.
Seventeen graduates earned academic honors, including three Doctors of Chiropractic and a record-setting 14 graduate degrees. Among the honorees, women's basketball's Tajma Krslak made history as the program's first Valedictorian in program history, becoming the seventh Life U student-athlete in a row to receive the university's highest academic honor.
Deputy Athletic Director Alaina Smith Walker praised the class, noting, "This group of student-athletes is yet another example of the "committed" mindset that we love to see in this department. While graduation is a huge achievement, I know that this is only the beginning for all of them. Life U Athletics is so proud to be a chapter in their story, and we cannot wait to see what they do next!"
