WEST POINT, Ga. — The No. 7 Life University men's soccer team blew past the Skyhawks of Point on the road Thursday night. Anchored by hat tricks from Enrico Burigotto and Alejandro Contrera, the Running Eagles hung seven goals while allowing zero from the home squad.

Enrico Burigotto wasted no time kicking off the scoring for Life U, netting his first of three in the 11th minute off an assist from Alex Coba. The senior then added his second just under twelve minutes later, once again from Coba.

Leading 2-0 in the 27th minute, Burigotto added an assist to his stat line when he found Thomas Rodella to make it 3-0 Life U. By the time the first half closed, Life U held the lead in shots 8-0, without allowing a single shot on frame.

The half time break did little to slow the Running Eagles down. Burigotto completed his hat trick in the 60th minute and was followed by the first of three from Alejandro Contrera in the 70th. Contrera then proceeded to add two more in the 77th and 79th, making it 7-0.

The Running Eagles completed the shut out, moving to 6-0-1 in SSAC play.
