BABSON PARK, Fla. — The Life University men's volleyball team turned in a complete performance Thursday night, sweeping Webber International (Fla.) in straight sets (25–18, 25–15, 25–20) in Appalachian Athletic Conference action.

The Running Eagles controlled the tempo throughout the match, combining an efficient offensive attack with a strong presence at the net to secure their fourth conference victory.

Life U came out firing in the opening set, jumping out to a quick 4–0 lead behind early kills from Jan Burhardt and Serano Keijl, along with a service ace from Riley Chapman. Webber International responded with a mid-set push to trim the deficit, but Life regained control behind a series of key blocks, including a combination stop from Burhardt and Keijl. From there, the Running Eagles closed the set on a strong note, with Burhardt delivering the final kill for a 25–18 win.

The second set saw Life settle into a rhythm early, using a mid-set run to create separation. Jakub Kantorowicz and Vincent Eisinga powered the offense during the stretch, while Keijl added pressure from the service line. The Running Eagles were especially efficient in the frame, committing just one attacking error while hitting .435 as a team. Life maintained control throughout and pulled away late for a 25–15 victory to take a 2–0 match lead.

In the third set, both teams traded points early before Life once again created distance midway through the frame. A balanced offensive effort and disciplined play at the net helped the Running Eagles maintain the advantage, with a key block from Eisinga and Chapman halting a Webber push. Life continued to side out effectively down the stretch, holding a late advantage before Burhardt sealed the match with his fifth kill of the night, securing the 25–20 set win and the sweep.
