MARIETTA, Ga. — The Life University men's volleyball team battled its way back Saturday afternoon, using steady adjustments and timely execution to earn a 3–2 comeback victory over Brescia (Ky.) inside the Upper Gym.

Brescia dictated the opening set, scoring early and often behind efficient swings to claim a 25–20 win. The visitors extended that momentum into the second, pulling away with extended runs and capitalizing on Life U errors to take the frame 25–13 and build a 2–0 advantage.

Then, the Running Eagles steadied the ship and turned the match around in the third set. After falling behind early, the Running Eagles tightened defensively and reduced errors, gradually closing the gap. Late kills from Serano Keijl and Jakub Kantorowicz helped Life pull ahead down the stretch, sealing a 25–22 win to stay alive.

The fourth set featured long rallies and frequent lead changes. With the score tied at 12–12, Life strung together a key sequence to regain control. Following a Brescia attack error, Riley Chapman delivered consecutive sets to Keijl, who converted both swings to give the Running Eagles momentum. Moments later, Ty'Sean Wallace added a kill before Kantorowicz finished a play off a set from Nefty Vigo, helping Life build separation. Brescia answered to tie the set at 20–20, but the Running Eagles closed strong, capped by a service ace from Wallace and a final block at the net to take the set 25–23.

The decisive fifth set remained tight throughout, featuring eight ties and six lead changes. The Running Eagles once again leaned on balanced offense and net defense late, with Keijl and Kantorowicz providing critical points as the Running Eagles closed out the match 15–13 to complete the comeback.
