MARIETTA, Ga. – The Life University women's lacrosse team rolled to a Senior Day win over the Bobcats of St. Thomas on Saturday morning. The Running Eagles dominated the first quater and continued to build on the early lead for the remainder of the contest.

It was five-straight goals for the Running Eagles to kick off the action on Lupo Family Field. Four of the goals came in the first period, with Tori Wolf, Hannah Leon, Lilly Phillips and Roxie Beasley all finding the back of the net. On the defensive end, Life U held the visitors to just three shots in the entire period.

The scoring continued into the second as Phillips found the back of the net once more before the Bobcats finally got on the board. The one goal did little to break the Running Eagles momentum as the home standing offense poured in six more goals before the half time break. Leon went for four-straight on the run, closing the half with five goals.

Leading 10-1 coming out of the half, St. Thomas scored two of the first three goals in an attempt to pull the contest back within reach. However, Life U once again responded with a four-goal run, as Reese Phipps, Wolf and Leon all struck.

Firmly in control, the Running Eagles out scored the visitors 4-1 in the final frame to take the 19-4 senior day win.
