WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Life University women's lacrosse team fell to the Bees of SCAD in the semifinals of the SUN Conference Tournament on Friday night. Despite a close first period, the Bees ran away with the contest.
The Bees opened with back-to-back strikes to jump out to an early 2-0 lead. Tori Wolf and Roxie Beasley answered with back-to-back strikes of their own to level the contest at 2-2. Tied heading into the second period, the Bees dominated both ends of the action. SCAD allowed zero goals to the Running Eagles while adding five-unanswered strikes on the offensive end.
The half time break provided little relief for Life U as the Bees continued to control the contest. SCAD outscored Life U 10-0 in the second half, taking the 17-2 win.
