2025-26 Men's Swimming Season Recap

• The Life University Men's Swimming program posted a 4-4 overall dual record during the 2025-26 season.
• The program placed 4th at the Small College Championship Cup and 6th at the SUN Conference Championships.
• The team recorded 1 All-Conference athlete, 6 National Qualifiers, 4 All-Americans and 5 Daktronics Scholar Athletes.

• The Life University Men's Swimming program kicked off the 2025-26 season by winning 3 of the first 4 duals of the season.
• The Running Eagles bested Thomas University twice and William Carey. 
• The program fell just short against Loyola, 126-131.

• Bence Meresz earned All-Conference honors at the 2026 SUN Conference Meet, placing third in the 100 yard breaststroke.
• In addition to the All-Conference honor, the program saw six student-athletes earn the right to head to the 2026 NAIA National Championships.

• The Life University Men's Swimming Program sent six athletes to compete at the 2026 NAIA National Championships in both individual events and relays.
  • Leo Guleryuz: 50 yard free, 100 yard free, 100 yard backstroke
  • Mate Dort: 500 yard free, 1650 yard free, 400 IM
  • Raffaele Urtiola Rojas: 200 yard free, 500 yard free, 1650 yard free
  • Bence Meresz: 50 yard free, 100 yard backstroke, 100 yard breaststroke
  • Maximilian Oppermann: 100 yard breaststroke, 200 yard breaststroke, 200 IM
  • Xavier Trovesi: 200 yard breaststroke, 200 IM, 400 IM
• As a program, the Running Eagles placed 10th overall.
• In the classroom, the team also honored 5 student-athletes on the Daktronics Scholar Athletes-list.

• Following the completion of the 2025-26 NAIA National Championships, Life U saw two individuals and two relays earn All-American honors.
• Xavier Trovesi highlighted the group, earning three individual All-American honors and picking up two more in the relays.
