2026 WOMEN'S LACROSSE SEASON RECAP

  • The Life University Women's Lacrosse program posted an 8-9 record overall and went 3-3 in SUN Conference play.
  • The team earned the number four seed in the SUN Conference Tournament, falling in the semifinals.
  • The team recorded 1 All-American, 8 All-SUN Conference Honorees, 2 All-SUN Conference Tournament players and saw 1 student-athlete named to the Daktronics Scholar-Athlete team.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Life University Women's Lacrosse program took down New College of Florida to pick up its third SUN Conference win of the season.
    • The win helped the squad finish 3-3 in conference play to earn the #4 seed in the tournament.
  • In the quarterfinals of the SUN Conference Tournament, Life U bested St. Thomas by a score of 10-6.
    • Life U dominated the game from start to finish, grabbing an early lead and never looking back.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS

  • The Life University Women's Lacrosse team was well honored in conference and NAIA awards.
  • Eight different Running Eagles earned All-Conference honors;
    • First Team: Roxie Beasley, Sainabou Foon and Abigale Eash
    • Second Team: Hannah Leon, Tori Wolf, Lilly Phillips, Sandra Wright and Kameron Easter.
  • For her work in the classroom and on the field, Melanie Simon earned Daktronics Scholar-Athlete recognition.
  • Following the conclusion of the regular season, Roxie Beasley went on to earn Third Team All-American honors.
