Delanie joined the Life University Athletic Care staff in 2022, providing care for the Men's Soccer and Women's Lacrosse teams. She also took over care of Men's and Women's Swimming in 2024.
Prior to Life U, Delanie worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at NCAA DII Limestone University from 2020-2022 providing primary coverage for Baseball, Women's Volleyball, Field Hockey, and Dance. Additionally, Turner provided assistance for various other sports. Before going full-time, from 2018-2020, she served as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at NAIA Webber International University, providing coverage for Football and Men and Women's Tennis. While in Babson Park, she earned a Master's in Business Administration in Sport Business Management. At Webber she also provided coverage for various sporting events at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando through a position with AdventHealth. She also spent time serving as an athletic trainer for the American Youth Football National Championships in Kissimmee, Florida.Â
Before working on her post-graduate, Delanie completed her undergraduate studies at Valdosta State University, earning a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2018. During her undergraduate years, she worked with VSU's NCAA Division II Football and Baseball teams as well as various sports with Valdosta High School and Colquitt County High School.Â
As a Smyrna native, Delanie is excited to be back near her hometown and family. She resides with her husband and their two dogs, Mavis and Milo.Â
