Mullen came to Life University in July 2020 as an assistant athletic trainer, taking over the primary athletic trainer duties for men's soccer and women's cross country, while also working with the women's indoor and outdoor track and field teams and spending a quarter with women's lacrosse.
Before joining the Running Eagles, he worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the College of Charleston from 2018-20, spending his time working with the women's volleyball, beach volleyball, and equestrian teams. The 2017-18 athletic year saw Mullen joining Austin Peay State University as a certified athletic trainer intern for their softball and football programs.
Mullen earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in 2017 with a double major in Kinesiology and Health and Athletic Training. His postgraduate degree came from The Citadel in 2020, receiving his Master's in Sport Management.
He currently resides in Marietta with his fiancée, Crystal, and their pup, Oxford.
