Michaela joined the Life University Athletic Care staff in July of ‘22 and is in her second-year practicing as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She graduated from Sterling College in May of ’22 with a master’s degree in athletic training. During her time at Sterling College, she spent time with the football, baseball, soccer, and the men’s basketball team as well as provided athletic training coverage for the NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championships during her time in graduate school. Last year, she provided coverage for the Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Wrestling programs. She was a contributing factor to the wrestling team’s runner up finish at the inaugural NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Championships, where eight women earned All-American honors. This year, she will be providing coverage for the Women’s Flag Football and Men’s and Women’s Swimming teams.
Born in Warner Robbins (GA), but spending most of her life in Kansas, Michaela is happy to be back in the Peach State. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, watching the Braves play, or taking a short drive to Nashville to spend time with family. She also loves being a dog mom to her two pit rescue dogs, Willow and Stevie, and being an auntie to her niece and nephew.
