MARIETTA, Ga. – In front of a raucous crowd of 250 people at Lupo Family Field, Life University (4-3) took down Brewton-Parker 3-2 in thrilling fashion.

Alex Pama liked the way his team responded after behind down for large portion of the match.

"We struggled a little in the first half, but we changed some things up in the second half and we played some of the best soccer we've played all season," Pama said. "Based on our play in the second half, we deserved this result. We can really build off of our performance in the second half. Give credit to Brewton-Parker though, they gave us a good fight. In the end, our courage payed off."

Marek Beno all had a goal apiece. The Running Eagles outshot the Barons 12-9, with six shots on goal compared to just four. Junior
Joe Davis earned his fourth win of the season in the goal with two crucial saves in the match.

In the first half, Life U got things going early as Jules found the back of the net at 7' to but the home team on the board first. BPC would answer back with their own goal at 11'. They would take the lead at 27' to take a 2-1 lead into the half.

The Running Eagles looked like a different team in the second half with an aggressive style of play that kept most of the final period a defensive stalemate. Life U finally broke through to tie the match at 2-2 with less than six minutes left as
Wessley Soronellas nail a shot. Less than two minutes later,
Marek Beno scored the game winning goal at 86' to seals the 3-2 comeback victory.
