MARIETTA, Ga. – Life University opened up the 2017 fall schedule on Saturday night with a 48-5 win over New York Rugby Club.

"This was a great first game for our varsity squad," Head Coach
Rosalind Chou said. "We folded some new players in, and I was really happy with how quickly they integrated into the team. In particular, freshmen
Sydnee Cervinski,
Maria Marin and
Malery Billingy. Overall, they seemed to have hit the ground running. Also,
Lekia Haynes improved a great deal over the summer.
