COLUMBIA, Ky. – Life University (14-7, 2-3 MSC) fell to No. 3 Lindsey Wilson (17-0, 7-0 MSC) in a 3-0 sweep (12-25, 11-25, 10-25) on Saturday.
 
Junior Chelsea Hill led the squad with five kills, two blocks and a dig. Junior Gaby Ferrán logged 10 digs. Sophomore Amber Harris logged 10 assists and four digs.
 
Things did not look they would go the Running Eagles way as the Blue Raiders opened the match on a 7-2 run. They eventually took the frame 25-12 thanks to several runs, including the 7-1 run they close out the set with.
 
Life U put a up a fight in the early goings of the second set at they hung with LWC to 9-8. However, Lindsey Wilson took over and won the set 25-11 thanks to a 16-3 run.
 
Things only got worse in the third set as the Blue Raiders started the frame with a 9-1 run. The deficit was too much for the Running Eagles to overcome, and LWC took the set and the match with a 25-10 decision.
 
Life U will return home on Oct. 6 to face off against Pikeville.
