WALESKA, Ga. – Life University men's soccer (3-2) knocked off Reinhardt (1-3-1) 2-1 on Thursday night.

Alex Pama was pleased with the performance of his squad on the road.

"Tonight was a tough battle against a good side and a good program," Pama said. "We needed to make some adjustments at half time, and the boys responded great. It was a true team effort. Everyone played their hearts out. Our young program and team keeps progressing."

The Running Eagles two goals came from sophomore
Henry Hernandez and senior
Rosendo Sierra-Flores. Sophomore
Ricardo Lawrence and
Wessley Soronellas added assists in the win. Junior
Joe Davis earned his third win in the goal with seven saves.

The first half of the match was a defensive back-and-forth for a majority of the period. However, Hernandez found the back of the net for the match's first goal at 31'. Reinhardt scored the equalizer a short while late at 40', leaving the game tied at the half.

The final period was just as much of a defensive stalemate as the opening half. Sierra-Flores gave the Running Eagles the lead back with a goal at 76'. They managed to hang on and took the 2-1 win.

Life U is back in action on Sept. 10 as they return home to welcome Faulkner.
