CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. ---- The Life University women's soccer team fell Saturday evening to Campbellsville University 4-2 in the road Mid-South Conference matchup.
NOTES
• Life U fell to 4-8-0 (0-3-0) on the year, while Campbellsville improved to 8-5-0 (2-2-0).
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
•
Josie Davis led the way offensively for the Running Eagles with six total shots and four on frame with a goal.
• Carolina Del Mar Orria Ferreira scored the other goal for Life U with just two shots in the match.

Jasmine Turner added three shots in the match as
Sydney Young and
Julia Bernhardt combined for 10 saves in goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Campbellsville took an early 1-0 lead in the 21
stminute of the match with a goal from Hall that was assisted by Blumfeldt.
• Campbellsville scored its second goal of the match just under two minutes later as Blumfeldt found the back of the net at the far post.
• Just before the half, Davis scored her eighth goal of the year on a rebounded save to put Life U behind one, 2-1, heading into the half.
• Campbellsville took a 3-1 lead five minutes after the break as Blumfeldt picked up her second assist of the match with Hall scoring her second as well.
• Life U responded in the 70
thminute to bring the margin to one again as del Mar scored her first of the year into the top corner of the goal.
• Campbellsville added its final goal of the match with thirty seconds remaining as Wolf scored with an assist from Walls to give the Tigers the 4-2 victory over the Running Eagles.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Campbellsville outshot Life U 21-15 during the match. The Tigers held the advantage in shots on frame over the Running Eagles 14-7.
• Campbellsville held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks over Life U.
• Life U and Campbellsville each finished with nine shots in the first half.
