MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The Life University women's soccer team fell to No. 16 nationally ranked Georgia Gwinnett College at home Wednesday night on a pair of second half goals.
NOTES
• Life U fell to 4-6 on the year, while Georgia Gwinnett improved to 8-2.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Elisabeth Andersag picked up the only shot on frame during the match for the Running Eagles.

Laura Howard and
Josie Davis also added shots for Life U.
•
Julia Bernhardt picked up eight saves in the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Life U had the first look at goal in the 13
thminute of the match as Howard missed wide right from outside the 18.
• Bernhardt remained active in goal throughout the first half, as she tallied six saves to keep the score line tied at 0-0 heading into the half.
• Three minutes into the second half, Andersson put the Grizzlies ahead 1-0. Moss played a ball down the right side as Keenan crossed the ball into the box that was headed into the back of the net.
• Andersag nearly had the equalizer in the 57
thminute of the match on a shot from distance that was saved by the Georgia Gwinnett keeper.
• Georgia Gwinnett scored the final goal of the match in the 85
thminute as Hanken made a move in the box to beat her defender and score.
• Georgia Gwinnett finished the match without allowing a shot from Life U in the remaining five minutes to take the 2-1 win.
