MARIETTA, Ga ---- The Life University women's basketball team fell to Georgetown 73-55 at home Sunday afternoon in the Mid-South Conference matchup.
NOTES
• Life U fell to 11-6 (1-4) on the year, while Georgetown improved to 17-3 (2-3).
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Tierra Lindsey led the way for the Running Eagles with eight points and six rebounds.

Tierra Tullis and
Naomi House each picked up seven points with three steals, as Tullis added seven boards.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Life U jumped out to an early 14-4 lead in the first six minutes of the game as Atkins recorded the steal and finished with a layup.
• Life U again led by ten, 19-9, after a steal and layup from House just inside two minutes. Georgetown finished the first quarter on a 9-0 run to cut the lead to one, 19-18, as the quarter ended.
• Life U struggled offensively in the second quarter, as they were outscored 17-6, to give Georgetown a 35-25 lead at the half.
• Georgetown continued to heat up offensively, as the Tigers led by 20, 52-32, after a pair of free-throws with 1:33 on the clock.
• Georgetown finished the third quarter ahead by 17, 55-38, to head into the final ten minutes.
• Life U started the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run to cut the lead to nine, 55-46, after a three from House. However, Georgetown resumed its double-digit lead that would stay the remainder of the game. The Tigers would take the MSC matchup by a final of 73-55.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Life U finished 21-for-70 from the field, 30%, while Georgetown shot 23-for-48, 47.9%.
• Life U shot 8-for-18, 44.4%, from the free-throw line as Georgetown finished 24-for-29, 82.8%.
• Campbellsville outscored Life U 54-26 in bench points.
