MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The Life University women's soccer team tallied a 3-2 double overtime upset over (RV) Cumberland University Sunday afternoon on senior day.
Alexandra Collighan netted the game-winner with just ten seconds remaining in the match.
NOTES
• Life U improved to 1-13 (1-5) on the year, as Cumberland fell to 11-5-1 (4-3).

Zoe Hagan also scored in the match as
Mathilde Sletner tallied the lone assist.

Julia Vila Punset totaled seven saves in goal to preserve the upset victory. She earned two saves in the second overtime period to allow the Running Eagles to score the golden goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Cumberland took an early 1-0 lead in the 13
th minute of the match.
• Life U had just two shots in the first half, but Slingluff made it count on the cross from Sletner to tie the match at one.
• Life U took a 2-1 advantage four minutes into the second half as
Zoe Hagan found the back of the net.
• Cumberland tied the match at two in the 67
th minute on a corner kick that took a deflection and was finished into the back of the net.
• At the end of regulation, Cumberland had outshot Life U 19-8, but the score remained tied.
• Life U outshot Cumberland 3-1 in the first overtime period, but neither team was able to find the finisher.
• Vila Punset made two acrobatic saves in the second ten minute period to give the Running Eagles a chance. With just ten seconds on the clock, Collighan played the ball to her right and struck the ball into the back of the net as the bench emptied to give Life U the 3-2 upset victory in double overtime.
