WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. ---- The Life University women's lacrosse team fell to No. 5 nationally ranked Keiser University 19-9 Monday afternoon on the road in Mid-South Conference play.

• Life U fell to 5-4 (0-3), as Keiser improved to 10-1 (2-0).

STANDOUT PERFORMERSÂ
•
Sandy Le led the way offensively for the Running Eagles with a team-high four goals. She added five ground balls, two caused turnovers and one draw control.
•
Darion Eagen added two goals with four ground balls, two caused turnovers and two draw controls. She also finished with an assist.
•
Jewelya Nelson,
Mallory Bush and
Meghan Smith also scored for Life U.
Bridgett Simmer added two assists as Nelson tallied three draw controls. Â Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
• Keiser jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of play.
• Life U responded with three unanswered goals from Eagen, Le and Smith to trail 7-3 with 9:38 remaining in the half.
• Life U added three more goals before the half, however the Keiser offense picked up five to stay ahead 12-6. Le picked up her hat-trick in the first half as Eagen added her second. Â
• Both teams traded goals to start the second half as Nelson provided some energy for the Life U offense. The Running Eagles trailed 13-7 with 25:31 on the clock.
• Keiser went on its second offensive run of the game with four unanswered goals over the next ten minutes to lead 18-7. Life U added a pair of goals from Bush and Le in the final 11 minutes, however the early deficit would be too much to overcome. Keiser scored a late goal to earn the 19-9 victory.

• Life U finished with 13 total shots as all 13 were on frame. Keiser tallied 40 shots with 30 on frame.
• Life U held an 11-4 advantage over Keiser in saves.
• Life U was 12-of-28 on clears during the game as Keiser finished 11-of-17.
• Both teams finished with 31 turnovers in the game.
• Life U picked up 22 ground balls compared to the 31 from Keiser. Keiser also led Life U 20-8 in draw controls throughout the game.
