Women's Soccer Falls to Thomas University 2-6

THOMASVILLE, Ga. ---- The Life University women's soccer team fell to Thomas University 2-6.  

NOTES
• Thomas University improves to 2-2, while the Eagles improves to 0-3. 

STANDOUT PERFORMERS 
• Freshman Alexandra Collighan scored both goals.
• Hollie Johnston assisted with the first goal in the 20th minute of the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
• Life had two goals, both were scored in the first half.
• Thomas scored in the 20th and 42nd minute, followed by four goals in the second half.
• One of the goals scored by the Night Hawks was off of a penalty kick buried in the left corner.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Life U and Thomas were evened out in the first half in shots, and saves.
• Thomas and Life shot 7 to 9 in the first half, in the second half the Night Hwaks outshot the Running Eagles 17 to 3.
• The Running Eagles had 9 saves to Thomas' two in the second half.

• The Running Eagles will return home Saturday, September 7th to face Tennessee Wesleyan at 7 PM.
