PIKEVILLE, Ky. ---- The Life University men's basketball team fell on the road 91-74 to the University of Pikeville Thursday night in Mid-South Conference Action.
NOTES
• Life U fell to 6-4 (2-4) on the year, while Pikeville improved to 7-8 (5-7).
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
•
Isaiah Hart led the Running Eagles offensively with 29 points and four assists.

James Moore totaled 14 points and
Cam Horton finished with 10.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Both teams started off slow in the first half, however a three from Hart put Life U ahead 12-6 five minutes into the contest. An 11-0 run from Pikeville gave the Bears a five-point advantage 17-12 at the 11:15 mark. A jumper from Hart in the paint tied the game at 24 with 6:25 on the clock.
• A 9-0 run from Pikeville again put the Bears ahead by nine, 33-24, with 3:45 on the clock. Life U ended the half on an 8-1 run to cut the deficit to three, 35-32 at the break.
• Pikeville jumped out to a 13-point lead, 46-33, to begin the second half as Life U struggled to find its offensive footing.
• The Bears led by as many as 21, 73-52, with 7:25 remaining in the game. Life U was never able to overcome the offensive attack of Pikeville as the Running Eagles fell on the road 91-74.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Life U finished 28-for-65 from the field, 43.1%, while Pikeville shot 37-for-59, 62.7%. The Running Eagles finished 8-for-20 (40%) from beyond the arc, as the Bears went 6-for-14, 42.9%.
• Pikeville led Life U on the boards 37-23 and led the Running Eagles in bench points 18-9.
