MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The No. 12 Life University women's volleyball team recognized its members of the 2021 senior class before Wednesday night's match, as the Running Eagles earned a 3-0 sweep over Cumberland University.

Jessie Prichard were honored, as
Carolin Santa Cancel,
Madison Ladner,
Julia Mollick,
Brie Montgomery and
Marin Black were escorted out by loved ones to be recognized.Â
Life U was dominant from the start winning the sets 25-16, 25-19 and 25-21. This marks the 17th consecutive win for the Running Eagles as they improve to 11-0 in Mid-South Conference action and 9-0 at home.
In the team statistics, Life U also led in the box score in nearly every statistical category. They limited the Phoenix to just 18 kills and a -.027 hitting percentage. The Running Eagles led 42-18 in kills, 5-2 in service aces, 42-17 in assists and 65-50 in digs. Both teams totaled eight blocks.Â
Individually,
Lena Pucnik led the Running Eagles offensively with 13 kills and 12 digs with two block assists. Prichard totaled 40 assists with a service ace, five digs, a solo block and two block assists. Black added a service ace and 25 digs in the three set match as
Fayola Louis tallied 10 kills and two block assists.
Emilee Brown added seven kills with five block assists as Montgomery tallied a pair of service aces.
The women's volleyball team will return to action on Saturday, October 23, when they host No. 21 nationally ranked Lindsey Wilson inside the Eagles' Nest at 1 PM for a key Mid-South Conference matchup.Â
