CLEVELAND, Ga. ---- The No. 13 nationally ranked Life University men's volleyball team earned its first Mid-South Conference win of the season with a 3-0 sweep over Truett McConnell on the road Thursday night.
NOTES
• Life U improved to 4-0 (1-0) on the year, as the Running Eagles limited the Bears to just four kills the entire match.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Javier Cornier totaled 26 assists in the match and added a service ace.
•
Jose Llaneza added a kill with five service aces and a pair of digs.
•
Nevin Johnson totaled nine kills in the match with a service ace as well.
•
Alex Cabana and
Jonathan Lemos each totaled three service aces in the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Life U dominated the first set with a program record 22-point margin of victory in the 25-3 set win.
• Life U never trailed in the match as they won the second set 25-13.
• Life U quickly finished the third set winning the match 25-7.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Life U led Truett McConnell in kills 41-4. Life U finished with a hitting percentage of .618 as Truett McConnell finished with a -.139.
• Life U led Truett McConnell in all statistical categories. They led 17-1 in aces, 3-0 in blocks, 35-4 in assists and 23-7 in digs.
• Truett McConnell committed nine attacking errors as Life U finished with seven.
