GEORGETOWN, Ky. ---- The Life University men's volleyball team was unable to extend its Mid-South Conference win streak Tuesday afternoon in a 3-0 road loss to Georgetown College.
NOTES
• Life U fell to 11-6 (8-5) on the year as Georgetown improved to 12-5 (10-1).

STANDOUT PERFORMERSÂ
• The Running Eagles struggled offensively as no individual finished in double digits.Â

Nevin Johnson led the way with seven kills and just one error. He added three digs as well.
•
Sebastian Obrador finished with five kills and 10 assists.
Alex Cabana and
Carlos Negron each finished with four kills and a pair of service aces. Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
• Both teams traded the lead early on in the first set, however Georgetown used a 7-2 run to lead by six, 16-10. Trailing by 10, 24-10, late in the set, Life U showed signs of life with a 6-0 run, however a service error ended the set 25-20.
• Georgetown led 7-3 early in set two, however the Life U offense started to connect with an 8-2 run to lead 11-9 after a pair of aces from Negron. Life U held a two-point lead, 13-11, before Georgetown went on a 5-1 run to lead by two, 16-14, after another service error. A kill from Obrador late in the set cut the lead to one, 20-19, however Georgetown finished the set on a 5-2 run that ended on a service error to take game two 25-21.
• Georgetown never trailed in the third and final set as the Tigers controlled the momentum of the set and the match. Georgetown earned the sweep on a service ace taking the third set 25-17.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Life U finished with 22 kills to the 34 from Georgetown. Life U finished with a hitting percentage of .125 as Georgetown finished .429.
• Life U trailed Georgetown 10-4 in blocks and 7-4 in service aces.
• Georgetown edged Life U in assists 32-22, and 19-12 in digs.
