MARIETTA, Ga. --- The No. 4 Life University women's lacrosse team faced (RV) Aquinas College today, quickly taking control of the competition as six players scored at least two goals to see the team come away with a 20-7 victory at Lupo Family Field Sunday afternoon.

The Running Eagles dominated the second period, running off five-straight scores to see the lead swell to 11-3. The Saints only score in the second came at the 4:25 mark, but three more Life U scores, the last two coming form

The Running Eagles and Saints traded scores in the third, both teams earning a pair of goals to see the difference stay the same and the clock running going into the final period, Life U leading 16-6. Aquinas never threatened to get back into the game in the final period, Life U continuing to build on its lead as
Angie Forbes contributed two of the team's four fourth quarter goals to see the game's final of 20-7.
