MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life U men's soccer team made a quick return to the field and played Blue Mountain Christian University to a 1-1 draw on Saturday's senior night at the Lupo Family Field.

The Life U dominated in possession most of the contest in which the shot count was 20-11.

Both sides had a number of scoring chances in the first half but were unable to convert. 

Beginning of the second half, the Running Eagles were able to break the scoreless tie, as Nipho Methula and Bruno Sperandio passed through the Toppers defense that found the foot of Stephane Shongo, who was able to put the ball in the back of the net.

From there, the Toppers were undeterred, and were able to equalize off of a shot bringing the game to 1-1

Both sides did not have enough time to convert the game winner.

Up next, the Running Eagles will continue SSAC competition, traveling to William Carey University (Miss.) this Thursday, Oct. 12 at 8:30 p.m.
