MOBILE, Ala. — In the opening game of the 2023 season, the Running Eagles used an own goal in the first half before scoring a late second-half goal to double the lead and hold on for the win.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS

  • Transfer defender Lucas Williams Fernandez scored the second goal of the contest, doubling the Life U lead and providing a much-needed cushion in the 83rd minute.
