MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Life U men's basketball team fell, 82-68, at Brewton-Parker College on Saturday afternoon in SSAC play.
The Barons made their mark around the rim going 14-for-26 in three-pointers and not looking back to hand Life U its fourth consecutive loss.
Elias Ramirez and Nathan Presnell were the only Running Eagles in double figures. Ramirez scored 19 points and Presnell added eleven points and six rebounds. Sophomore Shomik Shahjahan pitched in with eight points and six assists.
Life U's offensive struggles began early as the Running Eagles were outscored in the first half 43-33 holding a double-digit deficit going into the break.
Life U again struggled to score points in the second half as Brewton-Parker's offense did not let up, scoring 39 points and also creating as much as a 25 point lead erasing all doubt with three minutes left in the game.
Up next, Life U will be back on the road to take on SSAC opponent Point University on Wednesday, Jan 24 at 7:30 p.m.
