MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life U women's soccer team fought Mobile to a scoreless draw on Senior Day at Lupo Family Field Sunday afternoon. Following the match 11 seniors were recognized for their hard work and dedication the women's soccer program. 

It was a long battle against the Rams with many chances taken by the Running Eagles but the Mobile defense kept the ball out of the net the entire 90 minutes. 

Possession and the shot count was all leaning toward Life U, with the Running Eagles holding a large margin in shots, 30-4 and 9-2 edge on goal. 

Open looks at the goal were tough to come for Mobile in the first half while Life U had 16 chances and the contest went to the break 0-0.

The second half, though, saw a Life U surge again attempting 14 shots. Both Sacha Millward and senior Jeanne Brigand had many chances but could not find the back of the net. 

Life U held steady on the back line throughout, not surrendering a goal. Justine Candel walked away with two saves. 

Up next, the Running Eagles will host SSAC opponent UT Southern on Lupo Family  Field Wednesday at 5 pm.
