HATTIESBURG, Miss. - On the road in conference play, the Life U women's volleyball team was unable to find success in a 3-0 loss at William Carey Friday. The Crusaders swept the Running Eagles in their only match up of the regular season, winning straight sets in the match. 

Life U fell behind early in the opening set allowing the Crusaders to go on a 12-1 run giving enough momentum to go on to snag the first set. Life U challenged in the second as it was a 10-12 lead for the Crusaders late, which then followed a William Carey breakthrough to go on to take the set 25-17.  

William Carey would take the final set for the match as they totaled 43 kills to Life U's 25. 

Up next, Life U will head to Loyola University New Orleans tomorrow to take on the Wolfpack at 3 p.m.

TURNING POINT:

--William Carey took the match in three sets but Life U was within striking distance in the final set.
