MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life U women's soccer left no doubt from start to finish in a dominant 7-0 home rout of Point on Monday evening at Lupo Family Field.

Sacha Millward scored twice in a two minute span in the first half, while Lilja Bjord Olafsdottir also added two goals in the match. Rebecca Noren, Faith Martin and Isabelle Reyes all tallied a goal to add to the onslaught of goals.

After a tough last week of games, Life U wasted no time putting it behind them, scoring four times in the first 14 minutes and not looking back from there on the way to the win.

It all got started in the sixth minute as sophomore Sara Diaz found Olafadottir to put the first goal on the board with ease to get the scoring started.

Then, in the 8th minute, the onslaught began, with Millward connecting on a pass off an assist from Victoria Valles.  Milllward turned around quickly adding another one just two minutes later.

To add to the onslaught, Olafsdottir found defender Rebecca Noren to bring the first half score 4-0 only 13 minutes into the game.

Although the Skyhawks were able to keep Life U at bay the rest of the first half, Life U began to get more Running Eagles involved in the scoring in the second half. Junior Faith Martin found the back of the net in the 48th minute to make it 5-0 off an assist by Lavinia Horning.

In the 54th minute, it was freshman Isabelle Reyes turn, as she scored her first career goal to bring the score to 6-0.

Olafsdottir finally capped the scoring in the 65th minute off an assist from Dana Billington to end the game at 7-0.

Overall, Life U controlled possession throughout and dominated the shot count, with a 31-1 edge.

Up next, the Running Eagles will return to action at Lupo Family Field, hosting in-state rivals Dalton State this Thursday, October 24th at 5 p.m.
