MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Life U women's soccer team left no doubt in a 7-0 rout at Brewton-Parker on Monday afternoon in Mount Vernon in the SSAC conference play.

The Running Eagles scored six times in the first half, with five different players finding the back of the net in the win.

Lilja Bjorg Olafsdottir and Sacha Millward both delivered two goals each with Millward adding an assist too. Freshman Victoria Valles, sophomore Sara Diaz and senior Gabby Cruzado were the other Running Eagles that tallied a goal in the scoring-frenzy. 

The first goal came in the 10th minute from Valles who received a double assist from Millward and Marey Helgadottir. Less than a minute later, Dana Billington found Olafsdottir to bring the score 2-0 early in the game.

Three minutes later, Olafsdottir fired another ball into the back of the net, this time from Diaz.  The Running Eagles were not done yet, as Diaz assisted another but this time to find Millward to make the score 4-0. Shortly after Diaz worked through the Baron's defense adding one goal to the board to bring the score to 5-0. 

Five minutes later, senior Lottie Turner found Cruzado to add the sixth goal of the afternoon. 

Millward added the team's seventh goal midway through the second half closing out the scoring for the Running Eagles.

Life U was able to control possession all game, holding an incredible 38-0 edge in shot attempts. 

Overall, ten different Running Eagles were credited with a shot on goal.

Up next, Life U is scheduled to take on Middle Georgia this Friday, November 1 at 5 p.m. in the first round of the SSAC Championship at Lupo Family Field.
