Men's Lacrosse Drops Road Match to #3 Webber

BABSON PARK, Fla. - A slow start for the Life U men's lacrosse team proved to be too much to overcome Saturday as the Running Eagles fell 15-3 to Webber in AAC play. 

It was a quick start food the Warriors in the first period as Webber scored the first four goals until Life U answered at 2:22  left in the first with a Josh Bell goal. 

Webber left Life U scoreless in the second quarter as they added on four more to bring the score 8-1 one going into the break. 

Webber continued to put points on the board until Life U was able to add another one with 4:10 left in the third quarter from Mackoy Bodmer trailing 9-2.  The Warriors went on a scoring frenzy and only allowed one more goal from Josh Bell before they ended the day 15-3.

Colin Willis took the loss allowing 15 goals while making 12 saves. 

The Running Eagles will return home this Wednesday March 20 at 5 p.m.to take on Tennessee Wesleyan University at Lupo Family Field. 

TURNING POINT:

--Life U trailed 8-1 at the half after being outscored 7-2 the last thirty minutes. 

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:

--Christofer Tyson was a force to be reckoned with winning 15 of 21 face-offs.
