MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life U men's lacrosse team finished off a 18-7 conference win on Wednesday night at Lupo Family Field.

The Running Eagles dominated from start-to-finish with a run of six consecutive goals in the first quarter to grab control early in the contest.

Josh Bell and Brayden Hittle both scored two of their career-high four goals in the opening quarter as the Running Eagles spread the wealth with six different players finding the back of the net on Wednesday night. Junior Jacob Long tied Bell and Hittle for the team lead, with four goals himself while also adding an assist. Bell led the squad with three assists.

The Running Eagles off the back scored with less than a minute into the game and went on to score six goals before the Bulldogs were able to put up a goal. However, Hittle and Bell were able to add two more to allow Life U to lead 8-1 going into the second quarter.

The second quarter saw Life U extend its lead even more as the Running Eagles scored three times to lead 11-3 at the halftime break.

As the offense continued to lengthen the lead over the final 30 minutes, TWU was able to put four more on the board but it was not enough to overcome Life U's lead.

Freshman faceoff specialist Christofer Tyson delivered a strong opening showing, winning 20-of-26 on the night.

Up next, the Running Eagles will take to the road to North Carolina to take on Montreat College this Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m.
